So why should I choose products made from Ingredients Safe Enough to Eat? Is this just a fad?To answer this question, follow these steps to make your own educated decision!

Step1: Read the ingredient labels on your cosmetic products. 

Step 2: Determine which of the following ingredients are found in your product(s).

Step3: After identifying which ingredients are found in your product, Click on the ingredient below to read about the ingredient.

Step 4: Make an educated decision about whether you will continue to use these ingredients on your own body or if it is time to make a change.

  1. BHA and BHT
  2. Coal tar dyes: p-phenylenediamine and colors listed as “CI” followed by a five digit number
  3. DEA-related ingredients
  4. Dibutyl phthalate
  5. Formaldehyde-releasing preservatives
  6. Parabens
  7. Parfum (a.k.a. fragrance)
  8. PEG compounds
  9. Petrolatum
  10. Siloxanes
  11. Sodium laureth sulfate
